From Lisette:
Hi there, It's been a while since that cold morning in January in the dark parking lot in Fishkill, NY when you handed my husband, Peter, a sleepy little bundle of fur saying, "she's a great dog". We weren't sure if you said that to all new dog parents!!! But you were right, she is wonderful. I told Bo we'd send some photos, so here is one we took the day Abigail arrived, and one we took recently. We'll be in touch, thanks for the wonderful work you do.
From Robin:
Nelson is awesome! So sweet. He has really settled in nicely, the kids love him. Took him to a self service dog wash when we got back from NH. Great concept the self service wash, we gave him an oatmeal bath and blowdry he was perfect. He loves to go on frequent walks and chase the tennis ball around the yard. I was giving him the food Paula suggested but he really wasn't eating very much. This morning I put a tablespoon of chicken drippings over the food and it was gone in no time flat. Think he's a southern boy at heart and just loves that home cooking. Not to worry table food will not be the normal feeding routine. I got a new camara for M's day and as soon as I have a minute to figure out how in heaven the thing works I'll send along some pics of Nelson in his new home.
Thanks so much for all you, Bo and your crew do. I was very impressed with the attention to detail and the caring and organized way you tended to everything. We were surprised to see so many people on Sat. Each dog that came off the truck was so good. A true sign of the great job you all do. Thanks again, pics soon.
From Debbie:
Just wanted to let you know how awesome Jenny is doing. She has come such a long way in such a short time! She met just about my whole family! (i'm one of 8!) Everyone was in love with Jenny. After everyone left, I decided to take Jenny out with Robyn. To make a long story short, they became friends almost immediately! They ran and played for two hours straight! We couldn't believe how fast and tricky she was. For such a tired pup, I don't know where she got all this energy. She sure gave our shepherd a run for her money! It brought tears to our eyes. They both had so much fun! Jenny is sleeping in my arms right now. Earlier she was sleeping in the kitchen with Robyn. She's a riot in the ducks water! Boy is she going to love the lake! She such a little treasure to us - we love her. I'm so glad it all worked out. It was meant to be. Jenny thanks you from the bottom of her heart for saving her life and helping to make this adoption work. We were both drowned rats! It was pouring but it obviously didn't dampen anyone's spirits! A day to remember.
**THIS ADOPTION WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED WITHOUT RESCUE RIDERS TRANSPORT**
From Katie:
Joey, adopted by Bradley, came to his new home this past Saturday, May 8, 2010.
I'm not sure who is happier- Joey or Brad (and his family)
Thank you, Peace & Paws for putting a smile on the faces in this household every day!
From Pam and Jack:
I can't believe a whole year has passed since we got our beautiful little Spirit ( formerly Snuggles). We were reminicing over the weekend and remembering your husband carrying her out of the van and placing her in our daughters arms. She has been such a joy and again we want to thank you for getting her for us. She is an awesome dog and both her and Baylee (formerly Faith) have turned out to be wonderful dogs. I can't imagine our lives without them. We hope you are all well and have a wonderful holiday season.
From Kim:
You, Bo, and Chris were all great and we appreciate all your hard work. I have attached several pictures of Looch. As you can see he is very at home here and we love having him. Thanks again and we will stay in touch!
From Terry:
Just wanted to let you know that Carter (Oscar) is doing GREAT at his new home in Rhode Island! He's a joy! Hope you can view the pics.
He is an absolutely wonderful pup. He is sooooo well behaved. And adorable!!! He and my daughter's little white terrier, Eva, are crazy about each other, so he has a perfect playmate.
Our thanks to you all for the wonderful job you did with this precious little guy. He met his doctor on Saturday and passed the exam with flying colors. I was surprised and very happy to find that you had him vaccinated for Lyme disease, which is such a problem in this area. The vet and his staff were very taken with him....the assistant didn't want to let him out of her arms :-)
Brandi, I think he misses you! True story - - I bought him a new collar and put his little yellow collar - - the one you had on him - - in a catch-all drawer near the floor. A few days later I was looking for something in that drawer and he came over, poked his nose in the drawer, and grabbed the yellow collar. He took it to his other toys in the hallway. When Eva came over for a visit and went near the collar, he gave her a little growl! Now he keeps that collar with his toys - - I think it reminds him of you!
From Lynn:
With my "Nikki" shirt on (this was the dog that had just passed away and I really want her to be with me) I saw the truck approach. I waited and watched as this kind man took dog after dog from their cages - and was amazed how he cared so much for everyone of them. And then I heard "here comes Toby" and my heart fluttered as out of the cage they pulled this long legged lil guy. From that point it was love - I looked at him and said "welcome lil guy" and he said thank you with a kiss!! He was then introduced to his 3 human brothers and his Gammy and Gampy.
We got him home and introduced him to his "brother" Jack our yorkshire terrier - who has since become his best friend!! He gets along "ok" with his kitty "sisters" Sadie and Angel and he loves to sit and watch the tanks containing fish and even the turtle Toby.
"Toby" now known as "Buddy" (cause our turtles name is Toby) is one happy guy. He now lives the life - he enjoys our 2 acre yard - has a nice new bed and toys everywhere. He is very smart and in the 3 weeks we have had him he has learnt his new name - sit - stay - paw - crate - and fetch. He even has gotten used to his 60 foot run!! We enjoy watching him learn new things like how much fun it is to try and catch Jacks lil stub tail. Jack is teaching him the ins and out of being a dog - and Buddy for the most part listens!! Alex and Austin our 6 year old twins are also learning how to teach Buddy that they aren't chew toys - :) - Our oldest son Andre has helped out and was one of the first to help Buddy master walking on a leash, when he first came home.
He likes to be outside with his Daddy and learn all the new sights and sounds of our yard!! He is a great dog with a heart of gold and I love our cuddle time together!! I am very glad we got Buddy and I am looking forward to the many years and experieces I get to enjoy with him!! Thanks again Peace and Paws - Im sure glad I found you guys!!
:) nothing shows love like a waggin tail!
Her name is Honey and she joined our family today. She and her sisters were found abandoned by a roadside just a few weeks ago. Through the Loyal Heart Puppy Rescue, we adopted her. She is about 17 weeks old and weighs 17 pounds. She's a lab/bassett mix, so who knows what she'll grow up to look like. Right now, she is the sweetest little puppy ever, pretty much house-broken, mellow and a very good girl. Meggie adores her to the point of stalking her. She wouldn't let her out of her sight all day. Floyd seems pretty unconcerned by her arrival, but Honey loves him and thinks he hung the moon.
I'd like to send a special thanks to Jody at Loyal Heart, Rachel, who found and fostered Honey and her sisters and all the folks at Rescue Riders who brought Honey in to our family. Honey is home and I think loves it as much as we love her.
Hope you all enjoy the pictures of our newest family member. We'll update with more photos as she grows.
Have you ever noticed the number of people standing around the transport truck on Saturday mornings with tears in their eyes, or even wiping away actual tears? I did, and I noticed because I felt like a sentimental fool until I looked around and saw others with tears too. I hadn't even received Puffy yet. Simply seeing every other dog come out of the truck and being handed over to the new owners was causing the tears because I *KNEW* based on your amazingly careful adoption application process, that all those dogs were going into loving homes. To see either the terrified shaking dogs, or the dogs just so EXCITED to meet their new owners come off that truck and know that they had a new start coming their way, was so amazing to be able to witness! Thank you again for what you do! What a wonderful thing to be a part of Saturday morning.
So, as I took Puffy for a walk around the parking lot once off the truck, I passed the guy who received the black and white herding dog and that guy called out to me (with a chuckle)..."Well THAT one sure looks like a whole LOT of mischief!!" Puffy is definitely a bundle of energy and BEYOND starving for affection. I am still working on being able to go to the bathroom without her needing to be right there beside me :). Training classes and daycare to let her RUN all day...here we come! I got my last dog as an old dog, so this is quite a change and I am learning quickly! An hour into our drive home from New Hampshire, I looked at her in the back seat and she was completely zonked out, sleeping on her back with her legs straight up in the air. That is what I wanted to see...a rescue dog in a situation (or with an owner) where they feel completely safe and comfortable falling asleep like that!
My cat is not-so-thrilled! The permanent look on his face is, "you have GOT to be KIDDING me!!! You brought THIS home??!!!" It isn't helping that despite the fact that I bought Puffy not one, but TWO new beds, the only one she wants to sleep in is the CAT's bed. Sigh...
I have attached some pictures. She is definitely a happy girl, and keeping me on my toes!
Forrest has settled in nicely here, and seems to like his “big sister” Carly. Carly, having been the only dog for five years, is still indifferent toward him, but that seems to be changing slowly.
We would just like to say thank for transporting our pup to us. We've had Tank for about 3 months now and he's a very happy and healthy boy. We just wanted to say thanks again for your dedication. Tank came from Alabama and that trip must be exhausting! Keep up the great work. We tell everyone about your organization. Thanks again!!!!
Everything is going great with Raeann! She is the sweetest dog! We renamed her Josie and she already responds to her name. She seems to have learned the command come and we are working on sit and down. She is also doing very well with the crate training. Only one accident and that happened on the first night home. She loves to chase the soccer ball around in the backyard and has made friends with the golden retriever next door. It has only been a week but she knows her family and has already made herself at home. We are very happy with our Josie girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here are a few pictures of Tia - we changed her name from Inkberry, during her first week in our home!
We love her! She is the best puppy and has the best personality.
She was all cleared by the Vet- and got some more shots that she needed- she is so good that she even fell asleep while getting examined. The Vet laughed and said we got the cream of the crop!
She's hysterical!
Thank you thank you thank you!
I just wanted to say Thank You again. Cloe was at the vet today for her puppy shots and he was so pleased with how well she's doing. She is 4 months and I can't remember life without her. She has turned out to be such a blessing. She's the smartest girl in puppy school, I may be a little biased, she's fully housetrained and has the sweetest temperament. She goes to work with me everyday and has been a wonderful addition to my dog walking service. I've attached a new picture, everyone wants to know what kind of a dog she is, she's "one of a kind" and the cutest puppy there is!
John and I realized this past weekend that it was the year anniversary of our adopting Chloe (we decided to call it her Homecoming Day). In some ways we can't believe it's been that long, but in others it feels like she has always been a part of our lives. Mostly, we're amazed by how far she has come over the past year. Although she's been a complete sweetheart since day one, it's hard to even recognize the shy dog who jumped at every household sound and didn't know what a toy was in our confident, playful girl. We remain thrilled with our decision to adopt Chloe and her little "brother" Bruno and are especially pleased by how close the two of them have become. We still find ourselves saying almost daily how much we lucked out in the dog department, but we know that it actually wasn't luck at all and that it was really all of your work to help us find the perfect matches for us. I know I've said it before, but we just can't thank you and the volunteers at Crossing Paths enough -- we will always be grateful to you for giving our pups a second chance in life and helping them find their way to us.
I just want to thank you for everything you have done to make our adoption of Pickles possible. You have made such a huge positive difference in so many people and dogs' lives, including ours!
Pickles is a darling little girl, and we all are loving her more by the hour! She is fitting in well with our high-energy household, and loves playing with the boys as they run around. She is sweet and and smiley and loving and happy! A big hit with our entire family, extended as well! I cannot imagine a world that would not allow a home for this special little dog!
Pickles is doing well in her crate at night, and I am looking into dog obedience classes. We walk her through the neighborhood many times a day. She likes to play with her new puppy neighbor, Tessie, a little black mix.
My sister-in-law works at an animal hospital/vet's office, and thinks that Pickles may be in large part Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, a rather unusual breed. Especially to show up in southern Indiana. But the pictures on the internet sure do look like Pickles! Of course, no matter what she is or where she comes from, she is just perfect for us!
Pickle's birthday really is a mystery! From what Sonya told me of her history, I was thinking 6/1, but the health cert says 7/1, and the spay/neuter clinic puts it at about 7/16. So who knows, we'll go with the health certificate. Pickles sure does have that adorable puppy energy, which she needs to keep up with my boys!
Please know that I am VERY impressed with Jessica's caring and concern for Pickles! She prepared the most wonderful booklet of introduction to Pickles for us, called, "Meet Pickles!" It included words Pickles is learning, things she likes, things she is scared of, things she is still working on, plus "odds and ends," all illustrated with photos! Jessica is obviously the best foster mom any dog could hope to have! We and Pickles were very lucky to have her loving care be a part of Pickles's story, and will always be grateful.
Thank you again for all that you do! You are helping so many animals and people and the world all at once! I am just in awe at how much good you are doing, and how well you do it. May God bless you and keep you and the animals whose lives you touch in His wondrous care!
We just wanted to send the vet visit confirmation along with a pic of Bruin to let you know how well we all are. It has been a little over 3 weeks now and it is finally warming up. Bruin loves his new home and been just a super pup! He has met loads of people, kids, and dogs and is socially well adjusted. He is SO GOOD! with the other dogs and loves to play. He is getting bigger everyday and gets lots of excersise. Our 2 cats are still not entirely thrilled with the change to the household but one of our cats is very patient with him and has been seen playing chase a couple of times, too funny! Anyway everyone here is having a blast with him and we think he is going to turn out to be an awesome friend for a long time!! Thanks so much to you, Mary Ellen, and the rest of your team. Will keep in touch from time to time to tell you how we are all doing.
I've been meaning to get in touch with you and let you know how Toby is doing. We renamed him Toby as I am a big country fan (Toby Keith haha)
He is doing so great.....pretty much completely housetrained and learning to walk on the leash... he learns so much every day :) Such a well behaved, sweet dog to be around. Yesterday my wife and I took him for a long walk at Northwood Meadows State park which he really enjoyed! He really enjoys walking in the woods which is great as we have many trails near our house. Our schedules allow one of us to be with him every day which really has helped with the bonding/training.
He has met the other dogs in our neighborhood and gets along very well with all dogs and people..... he truly has an amazing disposition and is able to take in new experiences in stride.
We took him to dog daycare on Friday for a half day trial session and he did very well..... we will be taking him there one day/week when my wife and I both work.
We got a full vet checkup done on Monday and the vet says he is perfectly healthy and happy! The consensus seems to be that he will prob get between 50-60 lbs as a full adult which is an awesome size for us. Many have told us that they think he looks a bit Rottweiler mixed with Beagle??....whatever he is he is a very special boy!
Thanks you again so much for all that you and your husband do..... Toby brings a big smile to our faces each and every moment we look at him. You guys truly do make a positive difference in the lives of dogs and humans!
Hi, things are great! He seems to be adjusting very well. We did change his name to Ty. We didn't want to change it too much, so we stuck with the same sounding letters. He has had two accidents in the house, but otherwise is doing well with the crate training and we have him on a feeding and outdoor schedule! He loves his chew toys and his daily walks.... we found out it helps him relieve all that energy! I've attached some pics for you to see! Thanks again so much for everything, we are absolutely loving him!
I just wanted to share some pictures of Rose with you. She's doing awesome and is really the greatest dog. She's so funny and we just can't get enough of her. We've figured out that she's not really a cold weather dog so our New England winter was a shock to her but she gets to sleep with us every night and that's usually under the covers, even on the couch she's sleeping under the covers. She absolutely loves snow, thinks its the greatest thing. She was really timid when we first got her but she has completely opened up in the past couple of months and is walking up to most people with the tail wagging, ready to hand out kisses. She's even getting along with our cat! Though she is still afraid if she sees another cat outside, I dont think she really knows what to make of them. She's a complete love bug and I just want to thank you again for bringing us together.
I just wanted to thank you both for helping us adopt Chevy.
She is the most wonderful, gentle, affectionate dog that I have ever met. I could not have asked for a better companion and addition to our family. Chevy has completed our family. She is so perfect that it brings me to tears; I just can't believe that we've gotten so lucky. She is full of life, loves to play, and is absolutely wonderful, patient and gentle with our children. She kisses and cuddles constantly. She sleeps on our bed with us,usually tucked in right next to me. Sometimes she will go into her crate, which is always left open for her to enter and exit as she pleases. She came to us without much training, and all of her wonderful qualities are the result of her gentle nature, with minimal training necessary. She walks perfectly for me on a leash... we have a retractable leash, and once she gets close to the end of it, she stops and waits for me. She gets along with all the other dogs in the neighborhood, and most importantly,my parents' French Mastiff. They are quickly becoming best friends. She has a favorite spot on the couch, and as soon as I sit down, she gets up from that spot and scoots closer to me so that she can lay her head on my lap. She has not displayed any type of dominant or stubborn behavior, it's just the opposite. She is so very eager to please us, she listens when we tell her "no", and she is truly the best dog on this planet. We are working on potty training... she has only had a few accidents, and it was my fault because I had not yet learned the signs she was giving me that she had to go potty. It sounds crazy, but I really believe that she is grateful for her new home and family. I could talk about her all night... she is just perfect. She is adapting very well and has fit right in with our family. My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and are in agreement that a dog is as much a part of the family as the rest of us. She enjoys the luxuries of being allowed to sleep on the bed and couch, to roam free throughout the house, and we have a large backyard where she loves to run around and play fetch. There is not an aggressive or stubborn bone in this dog's body. Thank you both for giving us the chance to adopt such a gentle, kind soul. God has really blessed us with this dog.
Wanted to let you know that I am in love with Luna... I have very lovingly nick named her Luna Tic... She is very sweet and just an energy ball. Now if only I can keep up with her = )
We are working on her crate training - everything else is coming along fine.
My parents watch her while I am at work and they too are just smitten with her. Thank you for your work... All that you do for these animals is just amazing.
Little Luna is in good hands - she will be loved forever.
We made the journey home with no incident (thanks to your AAA!). At first, Bella acted as though she had to ask permission to do everything. She was so timid and just wanted to be held. By the end of the day, she was running about the yard, sniffing everything (and I mean EVERYTHING!) and fetching balls! She has settled into the house pretty well. She immediately took to her new bed and loves the Nylabone we gave her, although her favorite toy is an old pair of my husband's socks rolled in a ball! We bought her a crate and vowed to have her sleep in it every night (just until she is house trained), but I couldn't bear to be without her all night so she and I slept on the couch until about 5:00 AM. Then she willingly went into her crate and I went to bed. She now "rules" the couch, and our hearts (we are goners!!) She is such a loving sweet dog!! WE feel as though WE got lucky, not the other way around! Thanks for the tips on the food - she loves it! We will stay in touch and plan to have some beautiful pictures for your annual Christmas Card!
Everything is great. He is extremely lovable and friendly and everybody adores him. He met his two Aussie cousins and they love him and he's not afraid of them. He has gone to the vet and is set up for anything he might need in the coming months as he gets older. Aside from multiple accidents on my carpet he's doing great and we're working on it. I have renamed him Luke Knuckles Bradbury. Thank you for everything. He is all that I had hoped for.
Melissa, We just wanted to thank you again. We are already in love with our puppy (now named Jack). He got used to riding in the car very quickly and snuggled up to sleep for most of the ride. He also rode in his kennel part of the way and did well there too. Right now he's asleep with my husband in a chair in front of the fire watching the Celtics play! He's already a perfect addition to our family. I've attached a few pictures of him exploring his new home. Thank you again for the wonderful work you all do, we promise to keep you updated!
We just wanted to send you a picture of a very happy (and tired) pair of pups! They instantly loved each other and played all afternoon!! Oh and we decided to change her name to Sadie after the Beatles song sexy sadie cuz she's sooo beautiful. Thanks so much!!!! Heather and Jason
Gus is doing great and is very healthy. We were able to house train him easily (he hasn't had an accident in a month or so). He weighed 38 pounds on Saturday at the vet! He is growing like a weed.
He's enrolled in a basic training class at Petsmart that starts in a couple of weeks. His vaccinations are not complete at this point so we decided to enroll him a little later in the class instead of a few weeks ago.
Also, in case you're wondering, he has his vaccinations every two weeks at the vet. They prefer to stage them rather than giving them too many at once. Distemper, lyme (2 rounds), rabies, etc. We also like the fact that we go to the vet frequently to check in on his progress, ask questions, have him looked over, nails clipped, etc.
Please let me know if you need any more info. And thanks again for placing Gus with us. He is a such a great puppy, I can't say enough good things about him.
Here's a picture of Harley T. This dog is incredible. Vet says he's super smart so he's going to Puppy school next Saturday. He acts like he's lived here forever. Everyone loves him, he's so friendly and sweet.
My Vet, Dr. North, was quite impressed with Harley Tadpole's Alabama vet info. She says sometimes the rescue dogs hardly have any information. I told her about the rescue truck and how he was delivered, she was very impressed with that too. So keep up the good work!
This is how it's going: Perfect.
She's absolutely perfect. Beautiful. Sweet. Lovable. Tubby clean.
I can't thank you enough. My boys (including my husband) can't thank you enough either. We're all in love.
Now I have to get a good dog-training book. I'm rusty. But I can't wait. She's unbelievable. We are SOOOO lucky.
Thank you so much for doing what you do! You're awesome!
Amy
p.s. somebody's sleepy....
We hope that you enjoy these pictures of Marble and Charlie. They are getting along so great and she is just the sweetest thing. She is perfect!! She has had a bath which she enjoyed. She was chasing bubbles down the drain.
Your husband was very nice! Marble will see our vet this week, and we did receive all of the insurance info. Our families met Marble this afternoon and they all think she is wonderful. Please pass this e-mail along to Mary Ellen, I'm sure she would appreciate these pictures too!!! We are soo happy, Thanks to yourself and your husband, as well as Mary Ellen for all that you've done.
All of the forces aligned for the perfect adoption. My husband and I had tried to pull other Pyrenees (heartworm positive dogs, deaf dogs etc the list goes on) out of Texas with a different rescue..... it just kept not working out. My husband said to me "This is crazy -- we have a lot of love to give, we are a good family, we are great pet owners and we can't even rescue a dog. Why?"
I told him, just be patient God is telling us ---"not the right one yet, not the right one yet...." I said have FAITH the right one will come be patient. Sometimes you push so hard to do something, when really what you need to be doing is sitting patiently and waiting.
Often you can ask the question where is God? These animals that are abused and neglected, and still so kind. All of the heartbreak that you come into contact with when you do rescue work...... these are the happy endings that ignite the fire and and keep it burning. When your heart is hurting for the ones that did not happen to be so fortunate please think of stories like Faith's.
God Bless you and Bo, keep doing what you are doing.
P.S. My 5 yr old son Josh made me laugh so hard this am, he was sitting on the floor with Faith's head in his lap and he looked up at me with all of this love and wonder in his eyes and He said to me, "I just love Faith she is so Fancy! She is so beautiful I bet she could win a gold medal in a beauty contest!"
Well said Joshua, well said!
As of the vet appt on Saturday he was just under 25 lbs. I think he was 19 lbs when we brought him home. I think he is very happy. I love that he and my girls will grow up together. And he is rarely alone, I think maybe 5 times max since he has been with us. Someone is always around so he has constant company. He is like my little shadow too, follows me everywhere. He's such a sweet dog, it makes me so sad to think that he was close to being put down in the shelter. Everyone who visits us thinks he is the best dog, so he is a great example of why people should adopt a rescue dog. I tell everyone his story and I like to think that it makes an impact for the next time people are considering a pet.
We appreciate all you did for us in order to adopt this puppy. He is very intelligent and is a joy to be around. The first day went EXCEPTIONALLY well. By the way, obviously you can tell from the pictures attached, he is also extremely photogenic.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
I just wanted to drop you a quick note and a picture of Maggie (Spring). She loves her new home and her new best friend Jake. She's really loving the snow and her morning walks in the woods, and swimming when weather permits.
Merry Christmas, and again thanks for all that you both do.....we just love her!
I thought you might like to see this picture of Silly Sally, who we've decided to call Ginger (it's kind of a "dog family name" in our family). She's an absolute sweetie and gives our other dog, Howie, kisses. She's taken to snow like a native. She's still adjusting, but we think she's doing great and is a super little dog. Thank you so much for all your help in bringing her to us.
The dogs are doing great! Kimmy is a sweetheart!!!!!!! Mojo is a little jealous, but that is already starting to fade. However, he is rough with her and that scares me when they are playing!
Here is a picture of them with their Christmas shirts on that my wife got them. So funny!
Mrs. A said Hayden had settled in and was laying down (loving the attention!). While I was picking Hayden up, Mrs. A had called family members to tell them how excited she was. Her granddaughter Holly, the one who had been trying to help her find a dog, even came over last night to meet the dog. She loved her, too!
THANK YOU again!!!!!!!! You guys are the best and I'm so proud of you for what you do! You have unbelievably big hearts and wonderful spirits!
The girls are having an awesome time! When I first brought them home yesterday, they wouldn't walk through any doorway (I had to carry them across every threshold). But by the time the sun went down last night, they completely stopped hesitating. Oh and running up and down the stairs on the deck is great fun to them too. And they decided that it's also fun to dig holes under the deck too. They love running back and forth across the yard, chasing and tackling each other.

Our puppy is doing great. What a great puppy. She seems to love people and loves being close to all of us. My husband is even excited about her. The only problem I having is my two youngest boys fighting over her. I keep telling them that we have her forever but it doesn't seem to help.
I can't thank you enough for all your help with getting her. The family that had her mother did a job with the pups. You can tell that they were welled cared for in Alabama. I'm sure they are missing them.
He's here!!! He is sooo CUTE!! Poor guy is still pretty scared but he and our other dog Hannah have met and made friends. Even the cat came out to say - that's big for her. Thank you SO much for bringing him to us. I know in a day or two he will feel right at home. He has already claimed his bed.
Bo & Melissa- Thank you so much for bringing Poppy to us! You guys do a great service!!! We thought you'd like to see a few pictures of her in her new home. :-)
Thanks!

Thank you so very much for locating Moon Pie. She is just A Bountiful Puppy. Lesley & I just love her so very much. Thank you for every thing.
We are so very happy with her. She is just adorable. You are doing such A wonderfully thing saving the lives of all these animals. Moon pie will have such a great life because of you & what you are doing.
Todd is pictured here, with his new "sister," Ilsa the Wonder Dog. She was a rescue dog from Georgia... They are getting along great. We would like to again, thank you for all that you do. Wish I had taken pictures yesterday at the pick up of all the beautiful doggies and their new families.
